nwilliams, start one and we'll keep both going for people to see. If you do a search, you can see I have tried a few times with little to no response. Thanks, I will look out for it. I know once we meet for that first time, people are going to be more inclined to do more. Sometimes I think it's just me or maybe I just love my car too much, lol.

OK...I got a second thread going in the meet section. Let's try to keep the two synced up and hopefully we can get a good number of folks to come out!

I'll respond in the official meet thread as well, but I'm cool with Vaughn. I actually live in Etobicoke, but I work at York Mills/Don Mills, so I'm pretty mobile.

As to time, I think there are two schools of thought. One is to do it during the week in the evening so that people don't give up their weekend/family time. The other is to do it on weekends because people don't have lots of time in the evening, so they get cut short.

With a little notice, I can make either work, but I'm generally a fan of the Saturday morning meet for two reasons. At this time of year, it gets dark pretty early, and trying to admire cars in the dark seems to be kind of pointless. Second is that meeting in the morning and wrapping up over lunch leaves the whole rest of the day for family time.

That's about 4 people so far including myself. Now, date, place, and time. I was thinking a place in the middle like Vaughn area, DB's parking lot, starbucks, or one of the restaurants there. Let's decide soon before we are forced to put our winters on, lol....

Has anyone in Toronto done a clear bra on their car? I just picked up my car, and want to get the clear bra before it gets chipped. Members of my family have used 427 Auto for repair (very happy with them), but never for a clear bra. When we were there last, the guy talked very knowledgeably about clear bras and showed me an Audi A6 that had the whole front done. It looked great.

Any recommendations, and idea of what this should cost? I'd like to do the whole front, as opposed to just the lower portion of the hood.

I am just doing my headlights @ audio heaven (Leslie/Hwy 7 area) ... if you live in North Toronto.

As well, FX Auto (Hwy 7/McCowan) also do clear bra & 3M

If you live in Scarborough, you can check out Autolinks - John Ng
1066 Birchmount Road (just above Eglinton)
Scarborough, Ontario, M1K1S4
(416)-751-8883

These guys may come to your house to do it ... lots of 3 series owners recommend them !

Looks like everyone is charging more/less of the same price. If you are doing the front end (part of hood (1/4) & front fender), expect to pay about $600 - $700 range.

Awesome. Thanks bobble!

I'm in the west end (etobicoke), so I'll check out 427 tomorrow morning to see what they charge. If it's reasonable, I may just go with them, but if not, I'll check out your suggestions.

I had no idea Picus (GTA in Detail) did clearbras. If 427 doesn't work out, I'll probably check him first.

Hi Great to see a Canadian forum, I am from Mississauga Ontario.

We should plan a local meeting.

You just missed on last night! just a handful of us but do not know if we will do another one before the snow comes. I will be off weekends starting in a couple of weeks. If we do a weekend one, can a lot more people show up? Pretty bad last night, only 4 showed including myself
