I've loosened the 2 torx screws and the player will still not budge!
Are there some sort of clips to release before the unit will slide out?

The old saying been there done that.... The changer is still solidly locked into the chassis and won't come out. It's in there so well it seems like there are some other fasteners holding it in place. The screws turn freely and I can feel them clicking as they feel like they are at the ends of there threads when backing them out. I've tried to tighten them back in place but they still spin freely like they are stripped. Any alternatives in getting the changer out? The faceplate has broken off and I'm trying to remove the changer to fasten the plate in place permanently to keep it from falling off in the glove compartment.

I think the screws need to be backed off more.
I think they have a arm that catches on the holes here, push the player back in and unscrew the screws more to fully retract the arms.

I finally got it out. It was a matter of watching the screw plates on the sides push forward until they stopped. Then worked out one side then the next until I could grab the player enough to put it out. Without the front bezel there's nothing to hold on to.
