Can I Go From Style 134 to 138 Wheel Directly? (PICS!)
#1
Hello, I have a US Spec 2004 525i (build 6/04) with ugly Style 134 wheels looking to go to 138. I have the regular model, not the xi version. I found a local seller who's offering to sell me Style 138 17 inch OEM wheels with tires (it is unknown what model they're from, xi or regular). I do know they come with Pireeli P6000 225/45/R17 and the bolt pattern (whatever that is) is stated to be 5 x 4.72 or 5 x 120
Can I go directly to this wheel type? Is there any way of making sure they will fit before I buy them? What should I look for? I will have a chance to inspect them in person at the time of purchase.
Attached is a picture of my current rim (style 134, pic is from this site) and a picture of the wheels I'm looking to purchase.
Please give me your input on this. Thanks!

As I can see at pics, seems they are 99% non Xi

What's the best way to find out if they're ET20 or not?
Is it written somewhere on the wheel?

You can fit them easily, if they are ET20 (non Xi)

...if they were Xi rims, they should be more "flat" and not that "curvy" on spokes outside.
