CAN I PLAY A MOVIE ON MY CAR... I WAS PLAYIN WITH MY CAR LAST NIGHT.. JUST GOT THE NEW UPGRADE FOR MY CAR... I PRESSED ON THE DVD AND A MESSAGE CAME UP... NO DVD IN INTERNAL DRIVE... DOES THIS MEAN I CAN PLAY DVDS????????
I not only watch DVDs I have DirectTV streaming through the screen. It took some time and effort, but works like a charm. I don't understand why BMW does not make this standard.

I thought I smelled something. You're a bad man, you're bad man. I was just shaking my head when I saw your direct TV comment.

Yeah..sorry all. I know a few folks were hoping for a great X-mas present of technology. Believe me I would be first in line if the load of crap I promised was true.

Believe it or not, DirectTV is possible in your car anywhere in the U.S. Check this out, , I wouldn't do it, but is is possible. http://www.kvh.com/products/product.asp?id=125#

At least you went with Direct TV and not Cable. The car behind me keeps stepping on my cable.
