Can a custom car cover be used while in door charging of the e60 battery using a BMW 1.25 amp Advance battery charger? Or does a E60 don't need to be covered so it can get ventilation it needs?
Thanks in advance!!

Keep it covered. The battery vents outside the car behind your right rear wheel.

Unless you're using a cover made of plastic or something, I imagine it would breathe anyway. Most car covers are made of breatheable fabric to protect the car's finish so the cover wouldn't be the problem.
Obviously, the garage itself should probably have some fresh air source and or ventilation...
