I didnt get an $850/year discount, I had been quoted that much if I had LoJack.? As I previously stated, my insurance is sky-high because of my driving record from years ago during college, now I pay the price.? Regardless my isurance is upwards of $6200 per year.? That was what they quoted me saving per year, or $425 per 6 months.? This was with LoJack, my question was if BMW Assist can act like it therfore taking advantage of the savings.

Oh sorry but the way I read it, it sounded that "LoJack" got you the savings... (*this part*)

So its more like a combination of things that is getting you the huge savings... switching to a new comp? and having a sedan + "LoJack" In the end... yes BMW Assist can act like LoJack.

[/quote]my insurer offers about 20% discount on the comprehensive part of the premium because of the vehicle recovery feature of assist. Interestingly, my 65K 545 costs me roughly the same to insure as my last car, a 35K G35 Coupe!!

my '04 530i ($54,000) cost me about $200/year less than my '04 Audi A4 1.8t QMT6 ($32,000) and now the aditional approximate $120/year on the '06 ... i like it!
