I beleive they hold up fine, i checked out one 520d wich my friend had intentions on buying... price was good due to high mileage....
around 240k KM on the clock and the interior was mint, exept for the gear knob, it was a little worn out... but can be replaced.... it was a stick...

My interior is still money. The driver seat shows VERY slight wear but id have to point it out for anyone to notice.
Im an 04 approaching 97k miles. Anything I should do at the 100k marker in particular to get a long life ahead for her?
All of my miles are highway. I drive a LOT for work, and on weekends I'm all over the place. I figure a car is meant to be driven, so drive it.
I think as long as you take good care of any car, it'll last unless its a lemon IMHO.
