camshaft sencor location
can some 1 tell me were I can find the camshaft sencor on my e60 523i 05 tanxs if u have a pic that be great

My Ride: '06 530i, '07 C280 4matic, '98 ML320
On N52 engine, Camshaft position sensor is located on the front of the engine. Remove the engine cover for easier access to those camshaft position sensor.

part labeled #3 in these diagrams. Camshaft position sensors, as with most of these sensors, held by one bolt and there is an electrical connector going to these sensors.

look at the other thread you posted. It could be the sensor. It also can be something else. Homw many miles is on the car or KM
