Random shots indeed! Take some when it's light out, so we can actually see the car. And nice docksiders!

Does the 550 have a different PDC than the 535/528? Your picture looks like it has "edges" to the display. Mine is all curvy and contiguous. More "real time" looking, so to speak.

so I wasn't the only one thinking that -- I'll stop tilting my monitor in different positions to try and see the pictures more clearly! -JK

Always great to see the E60's lights in action

My PDC looks more real as well. I am guessing that since there is no NAV (smaller iDrive screen) that there is a different program for the standard iDrive. Thus giving a different look to the PDC.

Can the experts chime in regarding my assumption, thanks.

The PDC pictured in "no-nav", the nav equiped cars have the continous wavy lines instead of the multiple discrete sections.

Its "no-nav" and "business nav" that have the discrete sections on the PDC screen. The "professional nav" has the wavy lines. I had a loaner 5er from BMW yesterday with professional nav and noticed the difference straight away to my business nav (which looks like the pic above).
