just wondering how much of a differnece your payments are compared to what you have now? if you dont mind?? and good luck... Mel

For the 530i (MSRP 58220) I was paying $819/mo before tax. For the 328xi (MSRP 44500) it's $695/mo before tax.

Both leases are 36/15K with no cap cost reduction. I also negotiated both the MF and the cost down a bit. The 530i had a better residual (59 vs 55) and a lower MF (160 vs 215), hence the difference is not that big considering that the 530 had a 30% bigger MSRP.

Hmmm, interesting post...

You've had an E60 since 2006 and you enjoy the forums, but yet you've only had 3 posts in all these years You waited all the way to the end of your lease to make your posts Im just a little

Ive seen other members on here, who have gotten ridden of their E60 yet remained a member, but you havent even gotten started
Back in 2001 when I had a Subaru I was spending literally hours every day in long and pointless discussions on various Subaru boards. When I bought a BMW, I decided to restrain myself since, er, work needed to be done

Now, when you think before you post, it turns out that there's not a lot one can say which hasn't been said before. So I guess my posts were "Hello", "Good bye", and I think one "me too" post when somebody wanted to count the victims of the steering wheel optical sensor debacle...

On the other side, I learned a whole lot of very useful information. Which is a good thing considering the quality of the factory manual...

unfortunately the 2008 5er is not much different from the 2006 5er, and it was somewhat difficult to pay $1000/mo for a rather boring experience
I have an 06 530i and kind of thought the same thing but I took a chance and got the 08 535i and while it's pretty similiar there are MANY improvements and refinements including the TT engine. The TT engine with sport shift is anything but boring!

Cheers and +1 for staying with the BMW brand.
