Unhappy

Well...that's it.

After 8 great months the E60 is outta here.

We already have a daughter, and getting twins end of the month. NO way I can fit 3 child seats on the back seat in the BMW.

Looked at the X5, but the back seat is exactly the same as in the sedan.

So I'm taking a break from BMW, and I ordered a Volvo XC90. Will be my first Volvo, and is not exactly what I want in a car, but right now I have to put my head above my heart and do what's right for the family.

Been fun here, take care, and see you all in about 6 years time. :'(

I just sold my Volvo to buy a BMW....I can't say anything negative about my Volvo as it was a great car. Very relaible, good performance and safety. Price was very reasonable, too. I had the S60 AWD. I think the platform the XC90 is built on is the S80s. It is very similar to that of the S60. THe only bad thing about the Vovlos are their turning radius. The turning radius on these AWDs is extremely POOR. You will be making 3-point turns everywhere you go. I test drove the XC90 V8 and almost ordered it until I drove the Land Rover LR3. No comparison!!!! The LR3 was by far superior in every aspect. By the way the 3rd row seat in the LR3 is usable. It will accomodate 200lb, 6ft adults. I have had the LR3 for 7500 miles and it is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I looked at the LR3 also, but the looks were a little TOO different from what I'm used to I didn't like the shape of the car at all.

So the XC90 was the only choice that was left...

I beleive that's a good choice based on your family situation and where you live! I'm in a country completely over-flooded with Volvos and Saabs, and would for that reason not chose any of them!
