My Ride: BMW 535d
Thumbs up

Hey everybody!

the title should be BMW technology of course

I am studying for engineer. For the Thermodynamics I have to search a subject that's related to motorcar technology. I've to study this subject and on the examinations, I get questions of this subject.

As a big BMW freak, I'd like to take a subject related to BMW. For example: the working of the biturbo on the 535d, M double-Vanos ...

I've visited the BMW technologyguide online but is not detailed enough!

Does anyone know a interesting subject and has information about this subject!!

Info concerning the biturbo would also be great!!!

Thanks,

Postel

If the subject must be thermodynamics, you might want to study/explain why, from a thermodynamics viewpoint, direct injection if more efficient than prior versions of fuel injection in an internal combustion engine.

It may not be possible for you to obtain more detailed information regarding the design and operation of the biturbos in the 535d.
