Yep...get a good warranty!! (I guess CPO is the warranty name in the US?)
I saw a topic or two on HPFP (hight pressure fuel pump I guess) going bad, and what is mentioned above (battery and so on)
While BMW are great cars to drive, some can have mayor issues..and the more gadgets you have on the car (like power seats and so on) the more things will go south on you...
So basically ....CPO is the way to o...after that you can get almost every thing fixed

I also got a 04 545 auto cpo with 67k, replaced the thermostat, ac compressor and my left head light other that the car run's great. Have the car check out before your purchase... Good luck.

Congrats on the 545, you will love it. I picked up an '05 loaded a few months back and have had a couple what I would call minor issues. Enjoy your new baby and treat her well, she will reward you for it!!
