Well here's what JUST happened to me today.
I went shopping last weekend with a friend with the hopes of driving home that day. I had a few disappointments but the last car I looked at was sublime. I had to have it, halted poorly, but got a full tank of gas thrown in. I wanted to take it that night, he didn't want me to. I said okay, left a deposit of $500 (300) more than requested, got my slip and left. On tuesday I realized that I should have gotten the mileage so I asked him to send a picture, he did and when I got the car it had about 50 miles on it and there was a tire warning. He said forget it it happens and I signed my life away I DIDNT know there was a lien on the car and now I can't title the car until I get a clean title from his bank. Which he actually doesn't have to do at this point... On top of that I should have checked the tire because on my way home I got a flat, and blew the sidewall.... So ouch, rough first day with tallulah
