Nah man,
unfortunately for us who admire the beautiful M5 here in the US they are as common as civics in Hong Kong. That place is so rich that it disgusts me.

I think its due to the money they earn ( I earned more than what I earn in US currently), and
place is small so its possible you see all the cars on the same (few) roads and ofcourse I paid only 10% as tax..

My Ride: A Car
Hey bud,
Not sure this helps, but I lived in Beijing for the past year and I actually never noticed any characters except the normal ones. Everything was pretty much the same as us here aside minor country differences. There very well could be some E60's with characters, but I never came across any when I was in any part of China. ( HK, Shanghai or BJ ). I did however see more M5's than 550's and 545's.

When BMW ships a 535i to China, I know they would use the Chinese character instead of the english "i." Do they use English numbers or Chinese numbers?
Or then, contact BMW NA.
Don't buy a Chinese nor any Asian version of the E60!

that will actually look pretty nice. Maybe I should rebadge my car to 五四五i
A lot of fake M5s out there but people either buy the cheapest or most expensive models in Hong Kong. SO many porsches, ferraris, lamborghinis, etc. MB, BMW, Audi, Lexus are like hondas here. Ppl in Hong Kong keep saying the economy's bad and no one can make a buck but all the nice cars are there??
Or in cantonese ng sam ng i
