When BMW ships a 535i to China, I know they would use the Chinese character instead of the english "i." Do they use English numbers or Chinese numbers?

Just wondering.

I think "i" applies to all the languages on the BMWs.

"i" is not English.

Hey bud,

Not sure this helps, but I lived in Beijing for the past year and I actually never noticed any characters except the normal ones. Everything was pretty much the same as us here aside minor country differences. There very well could be some E60's with characters, but I never came across any when I was in any part of China. ( HK, Shanghai or BJ ). I did however see more M5's than 550's and 545's.

Nah man,

unfortunately for us who admire the beautiful M5 here in the US they are as common as civics in Hong Kong. That place is so rich that it disgusts me.

i'd say if ur unsure if it's a legit 535 check the sticker on the drivers side and/or the vin
