Jiio - Too late in Pasadena andHollywood for red light cameras. ;(
Red light camera are everywhere. Those, I'm not worried about too much. It's the speed cameras...

My g/f ran a red light in Hollywood a few months back around 3am while I sat fearing for my life. And, no it was not in my precious. She never did get a ticket.

Wash, DC has redlight and speed cameras all over. So does Baltimore. Baltimore has more cameras than any other city in the USA right now.

Oh no. I was in Baltimore and DC area early this year. I drove around 10 to 20 miles over the speed limit most of the time over there. I am so glad I haven't receive any speeding ticket yet.

We got cameras all over the place here, and the speed limit of city express ways is only 80km/h. It's tough as it is here with all the traffic, makes it even more frustrated with the cams around.
I still have two unpaid tickets

Australia works in same fashion as Britan. 12 points.

I got fined going 61km/h in a 60km/h zone, going down hill.
no 3km/h tolerance.

Melbourne raises the most revenue from speeidng fines then any other States in Australia

In Finland three tickets in two yr or two in one yr and they take Your licence for min two weeks and up to for ever!

Tolerance for speedcams is 15 kph.

And You all know about huge tickets in Finland? biggest, i think, has been about 0,5 milj. ?.

Yeah don't they like fine you depending on how much you make?

Tolerance in HK is 15 kph, anything over that is points deduction but will not affect insurance unlike other countries. As long as you don't cliam anything your insurance stays low.

Yes they do.They have tables for penaltys, where they see how many "dailys" you have to pay and one "Daily" is calculated from persons taxable income.

Fortunately insurance is same to everyone who live in same place, have similar car, as many years without accidents and have taken insurance at the same time.

Just across the Baltic - I got filmed from behind by an unmarked Mondeo V6 on probably the only decent motorway that we have here at a max speed of 196 km/h :'( . Limit is 130 km/h. They asked if I want to see the film which I politely declined. After a long discussion, since I wasn't driving in an unsafe manner I managed to get off only 25 Euro lighter .
