I have the nav pro and I think it is worth the money being able to see a map with surrounding areas.

if i want a map i use an atlas - it simply works better... and, too save the ???, i went with BusNav

BMW promised TMC with it.
it doesn't work in the UK
and it doesn't work in France
so i assume it doesn't work, period -

does ANYONE with BusNav have TMC working?

my dealer tried to tell me that it was because i have the basic radio and a CD drive
but
it is a DVD drive, absolutely, since it is using a DVD
and
it is dual tuner (pro) radio as it does the all-stations thing.

so why does TMC not work?

Hi Guys, talking about NAV it came to my mind what my dealer advice me about choosing Professional instead Business. I was told that ProNav was some how incompatible with Bluetooth mobiles. So far I've read many of your comments on both, telephone system and Nav and I'm not sure where some of you could get both working, NavPro and Bluetooh mobile.

Thanks Doctor Diesel but I'm afraid it's too late to change what I've ordered. Yes, because of that incompatibility my car should come with the BMW telephone. Anyway, I'll give a call to my dealer, just to protest how badly I was informed about that.

Hi,

I?ve just upgraded from Bus to Pro.

It?s a real great step up in usefulness and convenience with the map and the split screen. All worth the money IMO.

On my Bus Nav the TMC worked great.

I know how you feel, If I'd known I would have definitely held out for it

I'm now looking into buying the bluetooth module itself (without the holder etc to see if this can be added to the car . All I really would want is the handsfree bit as I'm not too worried about it integrating with idrive.

If the worst comes to the worst, I'll probably have a sony or nokia bluetooth kit added as an aftermarket item...until then, I'm using a bluetooth earpiece.

Hi,

is it possible to upgrade from businees to prof. nav? And how much?

It is very important for me, because I have business nav, and I can't buy tv tuner.

Thank you. berkar.

If you have Nav Pro pre wiring (option code 6UA) it is possible.
You can buy the parts needed on Ebay for a fraction of the actual price
