I tend to find this happens on hot days or when the volume is loud

What will happen is, the music, whether radio or CD will play normally, and the just randomly cut off (CD will pause etc) and followed by 'white noise/scratch' (like the cable in the back is being wiggled - lose connection) and then resume (cuts out for about 3 secs and iDrive lags/pauses for 5secs - unresponsive during this time).

Any ideas? I doubt it's cable connection, cause i drive this normally in the morning (not so hot) and doesn't happen, normally happens when im driving on the weekends during the day and it's hot.

Or not sure if it's when the volume goes too high (cause i don't crank it in the morning either) lol

Any ideas? It's been really hot lately and it cuts out every 10mins does my head in
