Burning smell when accelerating hard

I get a burning smell from the vents when I accelerate hard or fully accelerating, few months ago I had a small leak I got the seal changed but they told me I had to get the under of the car washed, but I didn't have time to take it to get washed under it, would this be due to the oil leak or something else ?

If you drive MTl than it might be smell from clutch or valve cover gasket

What was the leak that was fixed? If that leak was an oil leak around exhaust manifold, reminiscent oil is probably just burning off. As the dealer/mechanic recommended, you should clean the residue of old leak, then you [or the mechanic] will be able to see the source of the smell, if it continues after the cleanup.

I guess the leak was at the front, I saw the plastic covers that are under the car had oil from the front part
