If i run more than that the car will feel like s#it.
Are you running run-flat tires? I've read where swapping out to non-run-flat tires will help.

Hey Intoxicated,

I think this is what you might be looking for. I hope it will give you a lead for more info. Look up the key words in the DIY sub-forum for more info.

As for the tire pressures, I have been running under 40/45 psi ( for about six months now) for rim protection; the ride is not bad but I will consider lowering it a bit for safety concern. Like some of you guys said, I would not want my tires to pop due to the rise of weather temperatures or frictions.

For anyone who are hesistant to change up to 20's, it's not a bad decision. I can't believe I am saying this, but they look much better on our e60's than 18's or lower. Unless my tire pressures are below acceptable levels, I can't complain about the comfort of my ride under sport suspension and active steering system.
Have a great weekend, everyone!

There's no way bushings can affect ride quality in terms of "bumpiness". Worn bushings will make your car loose track a bit, especially on high speeds, and no, they last much longer than 3-4 years, 70-80k miles easy, provided parts are original BMW.
