Hi. Quick question. I have a 2008 528i with non sport suspension and I am upgrading the suspension. Do I need to reuse my stock bumpstops on the Eibach Sport Springs and Bilstein Sport Shocks setup ? I kept hearing they are not necessary so I did not install them but now I am worried. Please let me know. Thanks.

I have the exact same setup. There is no need to reuse your oem bump stops since the bilsteins come with an internally built stops.

Not sure what the bilsteins look like but I was told not to use the bump stops with my koni sports and for 6 months I had banging from the suspension going over dips. After speaking with some experts I had to put the bump stops back, also had to chop a bit off them to shorten them, and now the banging has gone.

if they come with bump stops you don't need to use them. if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for your setup?

Thanks guys for the info.

@Acuteperformance
No, they did not come with new bumpstops so I was wondering if I needed to reuse the OEM ones. I paid approx. $950 shipped (I did not really have time to shop around because I needed to get this done as soon as possible).
