I've got v17 software (i think!) and i've noticed an odd locking behaviour on the fuel filler cap.... it could be by design or a bug.

If i unlock my car and don't do anything it locks again... ok. But it doesn't lock the fuel filler! Is that a bug or by design (i.e. for some scenario when filling the car)

Ideas?

It's supposed to do that. Read the owners manual. It allows you to stay in the car with the doors locked while the attendant fills your car.

Yes, there are still people that don't pump their own gas. Especially in Oregon.

New Jersey also does not allow anyone but station attendants to pump gas.

Is it supposed to? Who locks their car with the while they are in it, only to unlock it again and wait for it to automatically re-lock after, what? 10 minutes? Just to wait for someone to fill up the gas? I don't think so. Hehe.

The manual only states it does that if you press the lock/unlock button on the dash. I think that's different to unlocking your car from outside and having it relock itself. Not a biggie just an observation (from a country that has had gas attendents in years )

I'm not saying it makes sense, I'm just saying that the owners manual says this is normal.
