Guys those are the stock LCI taillights. I've never done any kind of mods to my car. That's what they look after being rear-ended by a Dodge 3500 moving truck. Funny part, waited for two hours for a tow arranged through BMW assist. When the wrecker finally arrived, he said he had never towed a BMW before, and didn't know how to do it. So, as he's looking around for the tow points under the car, I said to him "can't find the tow points, huh". He called a buddy who informed him to look for the tow hook in the trunk - mind you, you see the condition the trunk is in. So, I thanked him for his time, and drove the car home to wait safely in the garage until the insurance calls, hopefully today. Of course I called BMW assist on the way home and thanked them for sending such a wonderful wrecker.
I can't believe people would accuse me of taking off my LCI taillights and using all-clear - the shame of it all!

Jeeez! That's a bad rear ender! Good to see your spirits are high still! I don't think mine would be if that happened to my car! Those 3500's are probably one of the worst things to hit you. Second to a semi!

Glad you are OK. Where did that happen? People here don't know how to drive on dry roads, let alone wet ones....

35 North at the Northwest Highway exit ramp. I was just sitting at the stop light, one car ahead of me(luckily I did NOT hit them)! The driver of the truck said his brakes just locked up and just smashed into the back of me. I'm going to take it to the Classic BMW Collision Center in Richardson. They said they would store it indoors until Allstate would come and look at it.
