My Ride: 2005 545i
congrats on the new car,
i had the exact same steering issue with my 05' 545 that i purchased in april. Got a hunter roadforce balancing done on the wheels and an alignment and it was corrected.

Thanks everyone - I'm happy to be a part of the community.
Last car was a 1997 Eclipse GS-T. It had an upgraded turbo...pretty much everything. It put down about ~270hp to the wheels so I figured the 545i would feel a lot faster and it does a little... I think I just need to get use to the naturally aspirated engine.

Software updates is a must. Have them replace/check the following:
1. Door Seals
2. Make sure your Idrive screen doesn't have any burnt pixels
3. Get the MP3 CCC update if you have navi so you can play mp3 cds until the mod bug bites and you get a Denison or Ipod adaptor
4. Make sure all of your lights (eyebrow, hids, fogs, taillights) are in top working condition. My lighting control module (LCM) had to be replaced because my eyebrows (orange lights above headlights) weren't coming on.
