I'm high on the Falken 452's right now, great tire and excellent price (4x200). Handles great in wet/dry and seem to be wearing no faster than any other brand I've used.

My vote goes to either Michellin PS2 or Pirelli P-Zero's.
Same here in that order

Great tyres but if you drive like a loon they will only last 9K at the best thats why my choice is the falken 452's for price ability and longevity as said though each to there own

I personally hate my run flats. When I had my 166's, I mounted them on General Exclaim UHP's. I LOVED them. Great performance for the price.

I dumped the runflats after 3 months, because my e60 530 didn't feel as good as my old e39 530, and now it
feels perfect.
I replaced the runflats with a set of Eagle F1's which are great.
So I would totally recommend non runflats for your e60, despite some people thinking you forfeit safety by
using non runflat tyres, gee, however did we get by before the advent of runflats, I don't know.

+1 I have PS2 on my Z06 and will go with the P-Zero's next tire change.

I do not think you forfeit safety with non runflats. I have BMW assist, a spare, I have roadside assistance, and I have comprehensive insurance.
What am I forfeiting?

I changed out my 545i sport factory run flats for Pirelli Zero nero two months ago and hated the Pirellis. I couldn't tell the difference from the run flats. They were noisy and harsh. So I went back to discount tires and exchanged them for Yokohama S Drives. The Yokohamas are perfect. They're quiet, sticky and very good looking, the cost was $880 installed for four

Please share your experiences with both regular and run flat tires.

Which brand and model of tires would you recommend for e60? Thanks in advance
