Hi,

I'm hoping that you guys can help me.

I've picked up my car again from the dealership as it went in for some checks and squeaking brakes.
But after taking my car out with the tech, my brakes were fine - he said that they've applied more grease to the brakes to stop them squeaking. Now I've done around 400 miles on these brakes and they have just started to squeak again.

I had the rotors(disk)/pads changed, but the disk have a score marks on them (the driver's side is atleast 2-3mm deep and passenger side is 1-2mm deep. I can only guess this is the sensor rubbing?

The dealer assures me that they are fine, and they need time to adjust, but I really think its more than that.

It might go away... honestly, I'm definitely changing to aftermarket (probably Stoptech) rotors and pads (not sure exactly what pads I'll get just yet) whenever my OEMs will rub away (or just annoy me to the point where I can't take it anymore).

Some people have had some luck with dealerships replacing the rotors and pads, but OEMs still squeal and they still dust like crazy... Basically, the OEMs are crap, buddy...

I was hoping that it would be fine. My factory rotors/pads were great - no issues until they wore out. But these, its a different story!

you said in your OP that your rotors have deep marks on them - that is not supposed to be the case on new rotors. Also, some squealing is probably normal during break-in period, but I have no idea how long/how many miles is normal.

I'm not really happy with the OEM brakes - I'm definitely going with more serious brakes when mine go.
