Question Brake Question

So shortly after changing my pads I began getting a squealing noise coming from the front wheels but only while the wheels are spinning, when I press the brakes it would stop an then only make a light squeal at the last second b4 stopping completely, I tried replacing the anti rattle clips on both sides and for a few days it stopped then came back, this time I noticed that it would only make the noise between 35-45 mph & if I very lightly pressed on the brake pedal the noise would stop for as long as I kept pressure on the pedal so I changed the bushings which again only temporarily solved the issue, I think because they were not new just looked better than the ones I had in at the time. The noise is back with the same symptoms, I have measured the rotors & they are both at 29.5-30.0 in every spot I checked, im wondering if I should just change rotors anyways or if 1st I should try ordering new clips & bushings to see if that stops the noise, if not then do new rotors? From what I can tell they are not warped or scratched up I just don't want to waste money replacing them if that isn't going to do anything to fix the issue im dealing with.

Just get them turned. Should cost $20 if you take them off yourself. That is the route I would take. I don't think getting new clips or bus sings will help. Also take a pry bar and push the dust cover back some. There is something making contact. Have you cleaned everything with break cleaner and re-greased? This are the only things I can think of that would help your issue

Agreed - get your old rotors skimmed. Putting new pads on old rotors is a guarantee of noise. The new pads need to 'bed in' on a rougher surface in order to transfer pad material to the rotor properly. Once that happens your brake efficiency is optimal as well.

What pads did you install?

just some off name pads, an do u think it is still the rotors even tho the noise only happens between certain speeds rather than when I'm actually using the brakes? the noise will actually stop if I lightly press the brakes with even the smallest amount of pressure or if I turn sharply it'll stop? that's way made me think the bushings are bad allowing the rotor to slide from side to side but again I'm still learning lol.

I would first try and accelerate the bedding in process.

Do about 8-10 hard braking sessions from around 60 mph but don't come to a complete stop. Do this back to back in order to really heat up the pads, rotors and wear those pads down.
After the 10th time, cruise around a bit to let everything cool down and try not to use the brakes until the cool down

OK I'll give it a try, im just a lil confused how getting the rotors turned or re-bedding the pads is going to stop the wheel from making the squealing sound while the wheel Is spinning? I can understand how it could make it while applying the brakes but like I was saying my issue goes away if I step on the brakes even the slightest bit almost like the caliper is loose an slides to far one way or the other which caused something to begin making the noise due to sliding an rubbing up against something.

Not saying this is the case, but is possible. Your rotors are not true. As they spin, the high points hit the pads, which are free to vibrate. As a result, noise is created. As you depress the brakes, the pads are no longer free to vibrate. Noise goes away. This is what I believe is happening in your case.

ok I have new bushing, clips, an pads coming, while I have tire off I'm going to check everything an I will take some pics to post of my rotors. if the noise continues after I have things off this time I'm going to end up buying new rotors since doing so wouldn't be much more than the cost of turning them.

I would only use OEM pads, not off brands. Then you have to bed them in. If it did not squeal before replacing the pads, get OEM pads and bed them in properly.
