UPDATE:

I just got back from the mechanic. Rotor is fine and doesn't need resurfacing nor replacing.

My mechanic, who is a BMW specialist (used to work at the BMW garage for 5yrs and opened his own private garage) said he is installing "IGOL" and "TEXTAR" parts and lubricants on Mercedes and BMW cars in his garage (anyone heard of them?). He said that they are as good as the OEM BMW parts (now I don't know if it is true or if he was trying to sell me the pads he had).

Front brake pads IGOL were 110$. Stupid enough, I had bought the OEM BMW for 190$ 30min earlier form the dealer.

I also bought the sensor for 15$.

What are your thoughts? The mechanic had around 15 BMW and Mercedes, so I think he is a good mechanic for having so many customers plus he has the highest reputation when it comes to these cars, that's how I heard of him.

PS: Can anyone remind me of the steps to do, to break-in my pads? I don't want to damage my rotor and pads.

AHHHHHHH CRAPPP So I paid an extra 90$ just because they were in a F**** BMW BOX.

Thanks Micheal for the info. From now on, I am getting all Textar products. And I just found out that the supplier is a friend of my father.
