brake pad sensor?

Ive new front discs, brake pads and sensors installed, but the i drive still says ive got 2000 miles left on the pads, but it new pads, I reset the brake pad i drive thing, now its saying there's "-9000" miles left!!, thats a negitive number now!, what might be the problem??,

Mine did that too! Don't worry, it's nothing to do with the sensor. I just had to reset my pad wear thing a couple more times and it eventually went to 20,000 miles.

thanks for that, I went out tryed ita few times more and it working now, mine says 25,000 miles.
