Brake Failure message

Well - I couldn't believe it either. I also don't believe the brakes will fail. I'm more worried about the sensors or the computers.

I called the Service Manager on Friday and gave him a little more of my mind (I now have none left and am moving into debt). It goes in on Tuesday to be checked. Stay tuned.

Nasty story about the Volvo from Andy535xi. I had a number of them in the 70's and 80's. They had a collection of problems but I always felt they were safe. Andy, glad you managed to get out of it safely.

Quick update.

I left the car with the dealer for a few days while I was travelling. They said that a brake sensor had broken and had tirggered the event. So it wasn't a "glitch". Thanks for giving me a little push to go back to the dealer on this.
