A guy at a recent meet had them on his e39. They don't fit over the entire caliper so looking through the wheel the real caliper is still visible and makes the fakes even more obvious. Cheap n nasty mod, keep clear of unless you wanna get laughed at! Like said above grab a tin of caliper enamel and paint the stock items whatever colour you like instead.

I am a big fan of caliper covers, I would surely put Caliper Covers before I would ever decide to paint by calipers.
The Brembo are good but their biggest downside is that they are very hard to clean at times

Sorry to play Devil's Advocate... and I have no intension on adding these covers. As I read some of the post here about "posers" "fakers" and so on, what is being said about the M5 copies out there? Personally, I like most mods, but when they start turning towards the M5 specifics I frown quite a bit. I am often in Munich and to see a 528 with an ///M on it makes me want to puke!

Yes, paint the calipers. It's very easy to do and MUCH classier. This poser crap is just that - crap.

Generally, most here agree with you there. I do have an M5 body kit, however, I did not put on the fender grilles, mirrors or even one M badge. I like the look of the M5, but I am not delusional, my car is still a 530 and no amount of badging will change that

No badging will make it as good as an M5, however, floor-mats removal will make your car faster and lighter, almost as fast as an M5 and the Brembo plastics covers will allow you to stop faster being lighter than ceramic.
just my .02cent

There is a difference between putting an a M5 badge and putting on a ///M badge. You can buy a 528 with M- spoiler, M-suspencion, M wheel and seats etc so this is in fact a ///M car, but by no means a M5.
But putting on a Brembo plastic cover, is cheap in my book.
