I need your help guys. I had the brake master cylinder and the brake booster replaced in August. Since then I have sold the car. Just yesterday I got a letter in the mail about the recall. I did not have the repairs done at the dealership. BMW NA is telling me to talk to the dealer, the dealer is telling me they can't help me because I no longer own the car for them to inspect it. Right on the Tread Act Letter it states that they will consider repairs outside the network but since I dont have the car am I am stuck? Does anyone have any information for someone higher up at BMW NA?

I think all you can get is the cost of the parts and only if you can prove that they were genuine BMW parts, not OEM.
