Bought a 535xi should I trade for a 528xi?
Hey guys, last night I bought a 535xi in bronze but was in the market for an alpine white e60. This morning the dealer called my and told me they just received a 528xi in alpine white. I know perfectly fine that performance wise, there's a LARGE gap between the two; however I'm REALLY into the white.
My question is, should I trade in the 535xi and get the white 528xi. Or should I stay with the performance of the 535xi?

Ojo, it's a matter of do you want to go fast or look good? I used to live in NY and over there, the speeding tickets can get pretty nasty. Me personally, I like the power so I went with a 535i but I live in El Paso, TX right now.

Trust me, I got enough speeding tickets lol. It's just a hard choice between performance and looks. I don't plan on racing, they both have X drive... How much performance difference will I actually notice?

My Ride: I have a 2007 Black Sapphire BMW 530i with SMG. It has the auburn interior, has PDC, Sports Package, Premium Package, rear automatic sunshades with manual side sunshades, 35% black tint, Upgraded angeleyes from Angelibrights, and Logic 7 Sound System
Model Year: 2007
One has a turbo and the other does not...you will see a MASSIVE difference. I would stay with the performance it were me; but as far as long term maintenance, I think the 528 will be more reliable.

hah I am biased but in general I wouldn't switch ... the hit you'd take in value from a trade after having owned it for a short time will might exceed the cost to paint it too...

I guess I'll stay with performance... Maybe after an exterior make over I'll agree that I'm making the right choice. The HPFP was never replaced, should I be concerned? Only about 68k on the clock
