On more than one occasion, I have returned to my locked 2006 530xiT to find both front windows down about an inch.

Has anyone else experienced this or is it me

Thanks!

I thought that too but if you hold onto the unlock button all your windows should roll down not just front two

in my car they don't roll down at the same time
the fronts start rolling a bit (not more than 2 inches) and after a while the rears start rolling
and when they're all done, the sunroof starts rolling

+1 The front windows start first, followed by the rear windows and then finally the sunroof.....and if you are in Europe, you can close them all up with the remote too!!

I figured it out...If you hold down and release the open button on the fob for 2-3 seconds (while the vehicle is locked and all windows are up) the windows will lower themselves by approximately one inch.
