Does anyone know how BMW determines what production month will be on the VIN plate on the driver's door jamb?
For instance my previous E60 530i completed production on 10/29/03 and the VIN Plate says 11/03.
If it was completed on 10/15/03 or earlier would the plate say 10/03?
I'm just curious as to how BMW rounds it off!
