Guys, i had my first ding on my 535i this weekend.. its a jet black 2008 535i, sport and premium package

someone backed into my front bumper in the mall parking lot.. left a little dent in my front bumper.. looks like someone tried to back into a parking spot and the ball portion of the trailer hitch dented my car. So there is a round dent on my front bumper, probably about 4 inches by 4 inches big.

obviously, they ran off.. so i need to get it fixed (its hard to see my baby look like that) looks like a black eye!

so i was wondering how do you recommend i get it fixed? can i just go to a regular bodyshop to fix it or do i need to get it fixed at a bmw dealership?

I'll try and post a pic of it today. but i want to get it fixed ASAP as it really bothers me!

Most dealers send out for body work so contact your dealer and get the name of their preferred shop. You will probably need a new front bumper and paint. Check out the cars in the recommended shop lot to see what they work on.
Depending on your insurance company rules, it may ??? be covered under comprehensive. Bumpers are not cheap. Check out realoem.com to get an idea.
After my accident my dealer recommendation was a top of the line shop that did excellent work.

If the paint/plastic isn't creased and there isn't a hole - I'd try to pop that dent out first.
