Does anyone know of a good body shop in the nyc area ? A hit and run occurred and my passenger side fender is dented inwards by the wheel. I went to dentdoctors (paintless dent removal shop) and they said I have to replace the fender.

Read my post. I just posted something very similar. I just had my fender hit also and was quoted $800. They are BMW approved shop for Bayside BMW.

My friend recommended him after he saw the work they did to his friend X5 which had all air bag deployment after his accident.

Rick,
Without a doubt it is Mike Best. AABest Auto Body, White Plains Rd., Bronx. Just look under my blurb on "Best NYC area body" in the Dealers section of this forum.
He will treat you right!

I know which one you are talking about. He's up by 240 street. I've seen his lot and there are too many cars all bunched together under the L... A new car like this I better not mess around. I'm going to have to take it to a certified BMW Auto repair, I'm probally going to take back to the dealer. I have to give it back at the end of the month and take dilivery of the new one. I don't want any problems with the dealership and the transaction.

Rick,
Mike is at 139th. There are never a lot of cars around. You are thinking of another place. Seriously, just go talk to him.

Does 139th Street and White Plains Road cross? I was thinking of the guy up by East 239th to 240th Street and White Plains Road.

oops. I think you're right, but you make up your own mind, of course. I have never been at Mike's place and seen him over loaded with vehicles.
He is honest, his pricing is reasonable and his workers are pros. What can I say? Just trying to help.

I have a friend who just had a repair done at Paul Petrone and it turned out very well.

I don?t think they put new clips on the door so the molding wasn?t as tight as the side that wasn?t done (it?s an E46) but otherwise the paint and bodywork were flawless.

I'm going to take it to prestige BMW on monday. I'll have them do the work there in the event something goes wrong they can't blame me. I'm a little nervous going somewhere else even though Pauls seemed like a great place to take the car.

I believe they are BMW certified repair shop for Bayside BMW.
