I know every other drivers envy my angel eyes when I pass them

I wonder..why no other car manufacturers (including the asian) never put those on their cars? any thoughts?

They don't want to show how jealous they are of BMW's design. Their condition is what is known to psychologist as angelinus envy.

Does every E60 have angel eyes i.e. both xenon / halogen types and from the 520i up to 545i?
Reason I ask this is I saw an E90 the other day without them. I posted a similar topic on "Other BMW Models" asking if only some E90's had them and the reply was only certain models - same situation as the E60. Well always thought all E60's had them!

Anyone know?

Not me. I'm too new to BMW. I don't even know if my running lights are on all the time. Someone recently asked, and I couldn't answer. Are they?

You have the option to have them at all time or not...on the e60...you didn t have that option on E39..you always had to do it manually

Well, sort of.

In the E39, the DEALER had to hook-up the computer to turn on your DRLs.

In the E60, it is exactly the same deal. In the US/Canada, we do not have access through I-Drive to turn DRLs off or on.

I think it is a matter of time before other manufacturers put Angel Eyes on their cars. See VW, Honda, Toyota is starting to put turn signals on the side mirrors, which was "invented" by Mercedes when they brought out the W220 S-Class in 1998.

Hella and in-pro is starting to sell Angel Eyes retrofit kits for other makes, like VW Golf.
