update from the dev:
The iOS version is already finished. We will publish the update as soon as possible and then it depends on the app-store when the update will be available for all iOS users, probably 1-2 weeks.
Already supported car models are 1 series (E8x), 3 series (E9x), 5 series (E6x), 6 series (E6x), X1 (E84), X5 (E7x), X6 (E7x), Z4 (E89) and Mini (R56, R60).
The additional price for the in-app is 9.95 € / 10.46 USD and the installation of the full version of BMWhat is required.

I suggest not going the cheap route and getting everything from them directly as far as cables/adapters. I had the WiFi dongle to begin with and I really needed the cable instead so I ordered it as well as the phone adapter for my Android. All in all from what their website says, there are more options on the Android side but I'm sure that's changing since they continually update their app. The reason I recommend spending the extra money on the adapters/cables directly from them is because you're not just buying that, you're also getting remarkable customer service nearly around the clock.
I was having connectivity issues so I emailed them and received replies within minutes most of the time. They were extremely helpful and willing to take the time to explain everything given the amount of emails they receive. I received a new cable and everything works perfectly for me. Yes after purchasing the app and adapters it's a little over a hundred but the functionality and quality or customer service make it worth it. My two cents.
Car info in sig.
