Default BMWhattttt!!

Apparently i'm very late with the discovery of the BMWhat app. I would like to purchase the App for Diagnostic and Coding. However, i'm not sure of which equipment to purchase to will work 100% with 2007 550i and android phone.

BMWhat USB-OBD cable?

or

BMWhat BT-Adapter? And there are several adapters to choose from. Not sure which one works best

With my '08 550i, only the USB-OBD cable lets me read codes and change programming. The Bluetooth adapter will connect, but doesn't do much else...

It works great for some coding and code reading on my 08 535 but I'm pretty sure if your car is before 3/2007 Bill date it will only read codes.I have it on the Apple iOS with a Wi-Fi adapter
