EuroCarFan, thanks you for the info I will email them in 5 minutes.
As for the thread, yes the 535D remapped should be able to kick my 545i's ass. As for cornering, how does the 535d compare to an M3 convertible or even the 545i? Isn't the diesel engine heavier with all the twin turbo?? If so, it would make the front end heavier which affects performance, right? I have no clue about the weight of the diesel vs. the 545i, just an assumption.

Last week I had a fantastic drive in a 60 miles motorway from Bilbao to San Sebastian. It is a very mountanious region so that there were many turns, uphills and downhills on the way.

I was competing with a BMW 645Ci. Very fast. He could not reach the 535d (remapped) any time.

At about 50 miles long, both we reduced speed dramatically. We both had radar detectors working at the same time!

Unfortunately he recognized me ;My parents were told by his brother about the rally and I had to give throughfull explanations about. (Imagine the situation since I am 47 now)

535d is King

...sure, your the King.....

Don't worry about it too much. If the 535d was available here, I'd probably would've gotten it and tuned the heck out of it. There are petrol heads who like diesel engines, ya know.

There's an article in the latest Bimmer magazine that says BMW may possible export the 535d to the US if the US revises it's regulation on sulfur content in diesel fuel.

If that's the case, then which one: 535i or 535d? If I want to extract the most hp and torque.
