Having just gone through a double crash and fixup, I feel your pain. Glad you're OK.
You need more body parts than I since I took a direct blow on the rear wheel which required new suspension.
I must say I'm surprised any airbags went off based on your damage. I had no interior damage or airbags. It took 18 days (counting weekends) to get my car back. I had $14,125CDN of damage.
As part of your insurance claim have your BMW dealer do an overall check to ensure everything is up to spec (similar check they do for returning leased cars).
