Anyone with a RHD e60 agree that it's a cheapskate thing to do by BMW to not reorientate the wipers, leaving that blind spot in the top right hand corner of the windscreen when looking out for pigeons.
Also while I'm on this nag, how hard would a software mod have been to have the IDrive Assistance Window on the left?

I don't have a RHD car but I still agree it's a bummer for you guys about the wipers. Now you can see why M-B went with the single blade/cam design...

Cheapskate - yes. Annoying? Not any more than having indicators on the wrong side (especially if you have a manual - ever tried downshifting and indicating?), Steptronic on a push-away rather than pull-towards you, all main controls towards the centre-left rather than the centre-right (one of the reasons why iDrive is good!) etc. etc. etc.
The assistance window is not a bad thing on the right, though, as there's normally less important stuff there, and from my driving position I see the left hand side of the screen slightly better.

Feel sorry for you RHD drivers, BMW should take you in better into consideration.
I wonder how they have done it with the Rolls-Royce?
Now Rudy your avatar is great!

You don't buy a BMW for its ergonomics.

My Ride: My 1st was an '06 530xi, Titanium Silver w/ gray dakota leather, sport pkg. & Nav.
Now my 2nd is an '08 650i CP, Space Gray, Blk Dakota, Sprt. Auto, HUD, Sprt. Pkg., Prem. Sound, High Beam Ast. & Comfort Access
Wow, I never thought about the RHD's. I just assumed BMW made the switches to make your life comfortable. I guess it is like being left handed in a right handed world. Good luck and make the best of a great ride.
