I heard they raise special BMW cows for use in the leather seats.

No, they only feed the bulls with Castrol LongLife oil

Top notch BS!!!!

In the UK I get my tyres from etyres.co.uk - they supply the Bridgestone runflat and strangely enough it is only supplied to fit BMW's!?!?!? I would therefore call it pretty specific!!!!! Not sure what the current exchange rate is but last time I picked one up for my 330d with 17" rims it cost me ?138 sterling

I think BMW itself engenders this response from the dealers. I recall reading on the driver doorpost sticker (the one with the tire pressures) that the tires are specific to the car, and that one should only get tires from the BMW center or words to that effect. I suppose this whole subject falls into the same realm as the $50 nitrogen gas fillup the Lexus dealers are pushing now.

I thought the "Stars" were how many times Hugh Hefner slept with the playmate of the month?

Love this! Let me stretch this further.

I've heard that those cows have no excretory systems; so they don't get dirty. Those cows are doped and thats why you get a high whenever you sit in a BMW.

My non-stock Bridgestone Potenza's are much better than OE tires

Wife just lost a tire on her 06 MDX. Same sort of thing - huge gash in the sidewall. Took it over to discount tire and they charged her $168 plus installation for a new OEM tire. They even stayed open late to take care of the swap. I told her to ask about price matching as Discount Tire will do this - even match Tirerack's price. I sort of felt guilty about this as they were going out of their way to take care of the issue. But they said to just let them know if we found it cheaper somewhere else.

Today I checked Tirerack and they sell the same tire for $169....

I LOVE DISCOUNT TIRE.
