I'm in Canada aswell. I also bought my car used. When I purchased my car I called BMW Canada and I confirmed with them that I am the owner of the car now. You will need to call BMW Canada and they will need your VIN.

like what the other posted said, you can sign up at BMWUSA.com and register your VIN to bmw to be the current owner. not sure about Canadia tho, might have to call for that one.

I second that. Just got screwed over due to water in the trunk. BMW is trying to deny that there are design defects with the sunroof drains, battery hydrogen vent, and location of the electronics.

Oh, the also replaced that cable on my car - said that it was corroded through: $269 + $85 + $48 = $402 - wanna bet that it's covered by the recall? Even if the dealer tries to deny it?
