Just f*cking with you, BMW hasn't even stockpiled all the parts for the recall let alone sent out the recall notices!

NorCal here, I had to call in to BMW to get registered as the owner of the car since I purchased it used. The representative said that I should be expecting a letter within the next few weeks should my car be victim. (800) 525-7417 for those who need to call.

My SA had a sense of humor about it (sort of)....he was saying I hope you can stop in the mean time!

I talked to them a couple of weeks ago and someone there told me that I'd be geting the letter by the end of the week. Well, that was a week ago. They are full of $hit. I basically had to park my car in the garage because I have little to no vacuum assist in the booster. Luckily, I can take a commuter train to work but this is getting ridiculous. What if people get into accidents? :thumbsdown:

Does your car have the symptom? Mine does. It's pretty heart-pounding to know that you overshot your intended stop distance by 7-feet.

Mine has only had the hard pedal at startup, but thankfully NO other symptoms! (crossing fingers)
