Hello all, I need some help desperately.
I am trying to remove a Front Crank Shaft seal on a 2008 535i with a N54 engine. The seal has a soft front face and requires a set of BMW seal removal tool. The Bentley book gives a tool number as 11 0 371 and 11 0 372.
I called Peterpan BMW and they cannot find the tools. They need the true BMW part numbers which I don't have.
I have already tried 3 after market tools which do not work. I need the BMW one.
Please someone that is a BMW tech give me the part numbers I need. Or, point me to a source of this tool, or rent it to me. I just need to get this done.
I am half way into this and it is unprofessional to pack it up and tow it to a dealer.

I'm no tech but I've had a search for you
So you need to remove the front crankshaft oil seal? BMW 119 220 and/or 119 230 are what's quoted on here: German car tools plus (bottom of the 6th page)
Not sure if these are the same number BMW use though, couldn't find much reference to them from BMW themselves.
Hope this is of some help

Samstagtools does not have what I am looking for and I did find one at asttool.com. Look for 110370
Assenmacher Specialty Tools from ASTtool.com
