According to Brittish cleangreencars.co.uk BMW is the best environmental brand.
The calculations where made between jan - june this year and compared to last year.
BMW has the best improvements also in the last year but the brand new L6 3.0 245 bhp
(at 4,000 rpm) / 520 Nm (1,750 to 3,000 rpm) diesel engine with a aluminium crankcase,
common rail direct injection of the third generation with piezo injectors and maximum injection
pressure of 1,800 bar, turbocharger with variable turbine geometry is not even in the calculations...
Note, that the new three liter diesel can be ordered with BluePerformance technology
that is clean not only in Co2's but also equipped with a NOX storage catalytic converter without loosing
any power nor torgue!
