OP may I ask you the part number of that crancking sensor if you got one you mentioned above to fix rpms going up and down, and where it is located. Is it easy DIY?

*** On a side note just in case someone experiences the same problem, i just got my car back from the shop and they told me it was my ISM module that needed to be changed..
